IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?

We take care to make your treatment as comfortable as possible. The procedure itself is relatively quick, and topical anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand to help minimise any discomfort. Sensitivity varies from person to person, and our team will talk you through what to expect during your consultation.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER THE TREATMENT?

Most clients return to normal daily activities immediately after treatment. You may experience facial redness for around 12–48 hours, which can usually be concealed with mineral makeup or a recommended post-treatment product if needed.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR REJUVENATION, ACNE SCARRING AND STRETCH MARKS?

The number of sessions recommended depends on your skin concern and is tailored during your consultation. As a general guide:

• Skin rejuvenation: typically 3–6 sessions, 4–8 weeks apart

• Acne scarring: typically 4–6 sessions, 4–8 weeks apart

• Stretch marks: typically 4–8 sessions, 4–8 weeks apart

• Pigmentation: typically 4–6 sessions, 2–4 weeks apart

HOW LONG UNTIL I NOTICE A DIFFERENCE?

Some clients notice changes in their skin's texture and appearance after their first session, with more noticeable changes generally building over a course of treatments. Skin condition can continue to improve in the months following a course, particularly when paired with recommended home care.

HOW SOON AFTER TREATMENT CAN I HAVE OTHER AESTHETIC OR INJECTABLES TREATMENTS?

As a general guide, we recommend leaving around 2 weeks between skin needling and other aesthetic treatments, as your skin may still be settling. For injectable treatments specifically, we recommend a 2-week gap either side of your skin needling session. Your practitioner can confirm timing based on your treatment plan.
